Her name is Valerie X. Larry King interviewed her on a show about the Texas FLDS compound because she is involved in a plural marriage (she’s not affiliated with the FLDS or any other organization but says she does consider herself Mormon). The way she moves her facial features looks funny to me – like a junkie, sort of. What do you think? Her segment begins at about 6 minutes, 42 seconds in this 11 minute, 32 second clip.
She does blink a lot. She sort of reminds me of Shirley Phelps-Roper. ETA: Very, very nervous. A lot of nervous tics! She’s not happy with her life.
No, not a junkie, I think…her eyes would be more hooded if she were loaded; and her pupils smaller.
But I agree completely with Zabali_Clawbane. She is not happy at all. Look at her right before they cut away. She seemed about to choke up.
I think she’s just nervous. I can’t tell whether she’s happy or not, but I don’t think she’s comfortable on camera, ‘outing’ herself.

I didn’t get the sense she was on drugs, just maybe a bit nervous and, near the end, becoming emotional as she considers her family members in other compounds and expresses a desire to know where and how they are.

Yeah, the Larry King one is the one I watched, and was commenting on while doing so. Her nervous tics are somewhat alarming to watch. Sometimes it is like she can’t get the words out fast enough, while she’s got them right, is almost how it seems. She’s very eager to say the right thing, and get the interview over with. She doesn’t like being on camera at all, and I do think she isn’t telling the truth when she says she and her family are very happy.
I think I’ve seen her and her co-wives and husband on Oprah before.
She’s on again, right now. Uncharitably, I want to guess that there is some Pekingese (the dog) in her ancestry. Charitably, I’m thinking maybe a thyroid condition. Her mannerisms and speech patterns are reminiscent of the most annoying sorority girl imaginable. Girls not gone wild. Probably a thyroid condition and a duel to the death with her eye makeup.
Weird. I just flicked past her, too. I changed channels when she started talking about the ‘benefits’ of polygamous marriage. Either that, or Larry King continues to make me feel slightly ill.
If anyone knows about multiple wives, its Larry. 
That whole thing is happening about 45 minutes south of my city. It’s going to be a huuuuge legal and financial headache for county government there. The strangest thing is that they’re probably not the strangest fringe religious group in the area, either. As for the woman, she doesn’t look drugged to me at all.
