The one on the left looks a bit older because of the way she’s holding her mouth, but she still looks fine, and the one on the right is as attractive as any woman I work with, which includes hundreds of twentysomething women, many of them very pretty.
Wow, it’s really easy to tell them apart now. One of them has the wrinkled face of a crack whore, the other one has her natural eyebrows.
I grew up watching them. Well, trying to avoid watching them because even as a kid I knew these two sucked. They’ve looked to me, like their head shape and facial features, like they have a mild learning problem.
IMO they look they look unhappy and dead-eyed and that’s what’s unattractive.
That cover is unflattering, but that’s pretty much what they look like recently. I thought they were ugly babies and kids, went through quite an attractive stage starting in their early teens, but it’s been downhill in their 20s. It’s not their style (I have to admit I’m often not a fan, but Ashley usually looks okay) or even so much the fact they always purse their lips oddly, it’s the way their faces have changed as they’ve matured. It might also be their weight, both have been unflatteringly thin for a long time now, even Ashley, who didn’t admit to an eating disorder. Or maybe they’ve already been getting plastic surgery, it looks like it. Smoking and excessive drinking/drugs could be a factor. Mary Kate often looks high out of her mind to me.

Maybe they got wind of all the creepy “countdown to the day they’re legal!!!” weirdos, freaked out, and redesigned their public personas to be as non-sexual as possible.
Yeah, it’s not only the weird way they purse their lips; this photo that you linked to shows their collagened upper lips, which always creeped me out. (I think their noses have been narrowed a bit from when they were young, but that looks fine.)
I see very little difference between the supposedly good and bad pictures.
On Bll Maher’s show, he put up that cover and said that “After seeing it, Steve Tyler said :“What am I doing on the cover of Newsweek? And why are there two of me?”” Maher clearly thought it looked pretty creepy, too.
It’s not that they don’t look 'super hot". They have dark circles around their eyes and have predatory mouths. They look like the illustration for a Stephen King story. As Maher said, “I;'ve seen more attractive looking twins in The Shining.”

I think the main issue is that they mostly smirk instead of smile anymore. There may be cosmetic work that prevents them from flashing a full smile, and their lips look a little enhanced too.
Maybe they realized they had a billion dollars and didn’t have to put on make-up anymore.

That’s not dark circles. That’s mascara and eyeliner. If there were any dark circles, they’d be in the area just under the lid, where the ridge of the bone starts for the eye socket. If anything, they may have sufficient makeup on to cover any circles that you get naturally; typically I need at least one concealer and foundation to hide natural darker coloration from blood vessels in that area.
And I agree with the previous poster who said that the “countdown to legality” might have skeeved them out. It would have made me lock myself in a suit of armor.
I mean really, calling them 50-year-old crack whores? They do not have lines or wrinkles. They are simply not wearing obvious blush or lipstick, the lighting washes out their complexions, and they aren’t smiling or pouting like fashion models at the camera. The article promotes their business savvy, so why slap on the makeup with a trowel and wear something revealing?
Hang on a minute… I just got round to looking up pictures of Ann Coulter, because I remembered seeing comments that she was hot despite being batshit insane. And she is conventionally attractive, yes. So the OP is disparaging the Olsens by saying they look like someone known for being hot? :faceplam:

Yeah, I think their looks would benefit greatly from some weight gain.
Those who ‘can’t see a difference’ between this and this (Ashley), or this and this (Mary Kate), are blind, I tell you. Blind. But you’ll always pop up in the threads where we discuss ridiculously obvious plastic surgery, 40 lb weight loss, and blatant crack addiction, anyway.
I don’t think there’s any plastic surgery, but they certainly have lost a lot of weight since their teens. Probably attributable to drugs, but could just as easily be some stupid fad vegan diet or something.
