Each of the Acyn threads (and thanks to @Smapti for posting them) I read, I always add a (crowd cheers) to the end of them mentally. That’s the thing. Every one of these dumbass blatherings are supported.
I’m in LA County. Plenty of people here tell me “I don’t get it “ No. I don’t get how this is a decent presidential candidate. Am I not getting how he’s being funny? Elusive? Elite? The answers go up and down from there.

The last campaign rally, yes; but I’m not so sure that he’s done with holding rallies.
If he loses, he will likely hold rallies complaining, and urging supporters to ask for recounts, look for video of suitcases full of Harris ballots being trucked in after polls close, and, oh, what the hell, looking for bamboo fibers in the ballot paper. He won’t concede, but he can only carry on this fight if you donate.
If he wins, he will likely hold rallies patting himself on the back, thanking his supporters, talking about what he will do on Day 1, and wondering why he can’t get started sooner. “Maybe we should rewrite that pesky Constitution that prevents me from getting started sooner, what do you say?” Oh, and donate, so he can continue his legal battles, at least until Inauguration Day.
At any rate, even though they may not be campaign rallies, he will hold more rallies. His ego, and his wallet, need them.
I opened up my music shuffle on the way home from work and the first song up was “Changes” by Tupac Shakur. It’s one of his posthumous releases, which samples “The Way It Is” by Bruce Hornsby, and includes the lyric “And although it seems heaven sent, we ain’t ready to see a black president”.
I hope that’s not an omen.
Meanwhile, Trump’s last rally finally wrapped up at 1:51 AM local time. When political scientists write the post-mortem of this election, I believe they’ll argue that keeping an audience of mostly senior citizens in a swing state up until 2 in the morning the night before the election was not a good move.
It’s hard to get elected that way, when the other guy is giving it away for free.
Yep, that was my theory, and this just supports it even more. He’ll be ranting about how he makes the best fires for the rest of his life!
No way he celebrates Festivus; he’d lose all the Feats of Strength.
That actually wouldn’t be a bad idea. The whole “lame duck” period in US elections is just bizarre. “Okay, you lost the election, but we’re going to let you retain power for several months, and actually pass laws and shit that still have actual, legal effects.”
That’s just nuts, and has been exploited several times in recent memory, so that Republican State legislators can pass laws to hamstring the newly elected Democratic governors.
Based off of his presidency, he makes them in dumpsters.
