I thought, with Trump being the America-saving action hero, he’d bait the shark into attacking then do a flip over it as it lunged at him and electrocuted itself on the boat battery.
After watching Meidas Touch mercilessly skewer Trump on YouTube all year, I finally realized that what keeps the crowds* showing up is that DJT gives them a better comedy routine than anything on TV. It’s not politics, it’s entertainment.
*Excluding the paid shills, of course.
To me, I think it’s more like the Two Minutes Hate from 1984, only it’s a rambling, 90-minute speech.
So, again, right there is a good example. It’s a weird incoherent anecdote, but in 2023 you get the story he’s trying to tell. 2024 not so much.

So its anti electric vehicle because if you are on a boat with a battery you might have to choose between getting electocuted or eaten by shark. Which is why we shouldn’t have electric trucks because there are all these sharks on the interstate… (Ok maybe it doesn’t provide context)
Also given that he has already established that getting electrocuted is better than being eaten by a shark, isn’t that a reason in favor of electric boats? Since if the boat is sinking it gives you an opportunity to euthanize yourself before the shark gets to you.
Being a Trump supporter is like watching an action film. Shut off your brain, don’t ask questions, and just enjoy it.
