Is Trump going to make it through the convention?

Complete with “blood coming out of her ‘wherever.’”

Cloaca.

Entirely too obscure a word for the Trumpmeister.

When I saw this I thought you were joking. I clicked just to see if it would redirect to TheOnion.

Wow. Words … heck, even the palette of SDMB emoticons … fail me.
GOP victory in November is back up to 26% at PredictWise.

The most damaging thing to Trump’s campaign is the revelation that he’s running out of money. He’s not going to get donations, either. He will have his moments where he draws closer to Hillary. If Trump’s poll numbers nosedive, you might see a revolt on the floor. But so far it seems like his campaign is dying a slow death.

Sure he is. Go to his website; there’s a big button that says DONATE. Lots of his supporters - the uneducated, whom he loves - will cheerily ante up money. He’ll raise millions. Fifty bucks here, fifty bucks there, it adds up.

Trump will, of course, funnel most of that money to companies that he has a stake in or who’ll give him kickbacks. He isn’t going to spend HIS money on the campaign. He’s going to take other people’s money. He’s been doing it for decades.

Joseph Smith.

Yes. Cleveland.

You know “Cleveland Screwjob” just doesn’t have the same rhythm as “Cincinnati Screwjob”.

Maybe they should switch cities while they’re at it?

Yeah, it has the same ring as the “Kansas City Shuffle.”

…Cleveland, City of Lights, City of Magic…"

Oh he can bring his extra magical underpants too.

Keep Elizabeth Warren out of this.

The funny thing is, that song is about how the river running through Cleveland (Cuyahoga?) was so polluted it would catch fire!

So Clevelandians are used to shit goin’ down… just wait til July, folks.

Here’s a poll taken a couple months ago when everyone thought that Trump would get the plurality but would fall short of the 1237 delegates needed.

62% of Republicans said that the person with the most votes should be the nominee. 54% said it would be unacceptable if anyone but Trump got the nomination if he won the most delegates.

Remember, this is even with the assumed rules of the convention that delegates can vote for anyone if no one wins the nomination in the first round. Imagine what the percentages would be if the 'pubs changed the rules to deny Trump after he won the majority.

And a quote from the RNC chairman that may come back to bite him:

Although, there’s a minor inconsistency in those polled: “55 percent of Republican primary voters say it’s acceptable to them if Cruz wins the nomination by convincing the delegates from other candidates to support him.” So when the question is asked in a slightly different way, almost 20% of respondents become morons.
