Is “Yakety Sax” inherently funny, or are we just conditioned into considering it funny by Benny Hill?

We have a very young (just under 6-month-old) Havanese puppy who is very energetic and loves to play. One of my favorite things to do these days is to grab my iPhone, find Yakety Sax on YouTube, and then play it at full volume while I chase her around the house holding the phone. It is awesome. It’s at the point where if I play the song she immediately starts running around. So yes, it is pretty damn funny even outside of Benny Hill.

It didn’t ruin that for me, but it sure ruined “Singing in the Rain”,

Scion toaster.

Awww! I would love to see that.

Those Teletubbies are great. Especially considering how … languid … most of the action on a real Teletubbies clip is.

Teletubbies - toddlers moving at the speed of 80 year olds for 20+ years running.

I found another one. Merry Christmas!

Just when I thought the best couldn’t get any better!! :+1: :+1:

Merry Christmas right back at you.

Now that is an ethnically homogenous parade!

And good to see this thread revived; some joke just don’t get old. Thanks @saucywench

It sure is!

I just found another one. I wonder how many hours I spent playing this game.

I recall a convention many years back - a fundy convention? - no I think it was a republican convention, and the brass band there led off with the Liberty Bell March. Causing the whole world to laugh at the utterly clueless crowd as they marched in to the tune of the Monty Python theme song. They might as well have used the entry of the gladiators!
