Muslims will never wipe out non-Muslims, or even attempt to. Islamic law forbids Muslims from charging interest to other Muslims, but they’ll gladly charge interest to non-Muslims. If they killed us all they would seriously be out of money.
It’d be like if credit card companies dropped everyone who was paying over 10% interest on over $10k of debt for being “bad customers.” Never gonna happen.

It was a two-fer. The word on the street was that it was greased with both pork AND beef fat, for your maximum fastidious religion insulting goodness.
ETA: There were also even more extreme rumors, like that the Company was grinding pork and beef bones into the sepoy’s flour rations to better defile the Muslims and break the Hindu’s caste. Or that cow blood was being added to the salt ration in Gujarat, hence the reddish tinge. All to soften them up for the eventual forced conversion of course.
Note that one opened these casings by biting into them in order to tear them open.
