My next door neighbor in the 70s had a toy we called “the green machine” but it was NOT the Big-Wheel-esque three-wheeled Huffy Green Machine.
IIRC there were no foot pedals. You propelled the thing by handles on the two big side wheels. You sat very low to the ground in it, and the side wheels were about as tall as a seated 7 year old. You could make the thing spin in place by cranking the side wheels in opposite directions.
Does this ring a bell for anyone? All I can find online is the Huffy Green Machine which was very similar to the Big Wheel.
