In a vote of 6-1, the High Court of Justice yesterday decreed the Toronto-wed couples are to be registered as married under Israel’s population registry. The precedent-setting decision entitles them to the same status as heterosexual Israeli couples who marry abroad, including tax benefits and the legal right to adopt children.

And just to add a bit of content to the mix, it may be worth noting that “Rabbi” (and I use the term loosely) Levin shot his mouth off after the court decision (and no doubt largely as a reaction to it)
