It appears I am, in fact, the average American woman.

Today, I was shopping for jeans. I couldn’t find any in my size, at least not in the brand I preferred. Obviously they were sold out.

I recall a time I was shopping for shoes (a chore I abhor) and when I found a style I really liked, it turned out they didn’t have them in my size. There are more times than I can specifically call to mind when the item I wished to buy wasn’t available in my size.

Bear in mind, my size had changed over the years, both up and down. Regardless, more often than not, I can’t get what I want because it’s sold out. The only possible explanation is that I represent the average American woman and all the other women get to the stores before I do.

But I fooled them all - I found the jeans I wanted on line. They’ll be here next week.

Do I win this week’s Mundane and Pointless Post Award??

Why should you get an award for an average post?

Not even a Participation Trophy???

I’ve got a “smiley face” sticker-you want it , or not?

What I used to really hate was back however many years ago when wearing oversized/baggy clothes was the “THING”. I was a legitimate XXL at the time, but couldn’t find any on the shelves because all the folks that should have been wearing mediums or larges were buying up MY #$%& size!
