Last Saturday, SWMBO and I drove up to Austin for a day-long seminar on Combat Weapons Training. Suffice to say that it involved learning better and more efficient ways to beat people with a stick. And yeah, the sticks are padded, but still…if your partner puts a good move on you, your bell gets rung.
Needless to say, it was a strenuous workout and I was sore Sunday and Monday. But it hurt so good. There’s just something about that soreness following physical activity that gives you the “boo-yah” feeling all over again, know what I mean?
