You know, some of us older folks think it’s kinda fun to mess with these annoying pollsters. You can say any crazy thing, and they will solemnly note it down.
Yeah, and we tend not to hold syposiumses promising the B.S.
(FU, critics, it’s symposiumses.)
I highly doubt it. From years of observation, they’ve been sold anything and still swallow more. “Trump will defeat Biden!..” oh wait.
More news the Leftist Fake Lamestream Media isn’t covering: Newly re-inaugurated President Trump dismissed the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff yesterday, nominating an all-new slate to replace them.
They are all little-known names, so as to not immediately be embroiled in controversy, so they will likely be confirmed by the Senate with a few Democrat votes. They, along with Sec. Def Flynn, will probably be Trump’s toadies when he declares martial law (some are predicting it by next week) and starts rounding up Democrats and disloyal Republicans.
Being Trump’s second and last term (since he will probably be President for Life now) Trump will have a much freer and more powerful hand in doing things His Way from now on.
ETA: You’d think the Leftist Fake Lamestream Media would be all over stories like this, but have you also noticed that Trump has already shut most of them down and arrested the publishers?
August 16th: I just want to take the opportunity to remind disgraced, twice impeached former President tanTrump that he still is not President again. Not even first in line, the sore loser.

Do they believe the conspiracy theories, or do they believe the GOP will be able to use the conspiracy theories and the SC to successfully complete their coup?
Yeah, that’s right. Because he never finished assembling it the first time!
Damned Ikea.
Those instructions. Trump can’t read “international”.
Yes he’s back in office. He fucked up the Afghanistan withdrawal and left yesterday.
Wanted to stop by here and ask, didn’t Mike (My Pillow) Lindell set or suggest a new date? If not did one of the other minions, or is there something on the internets you kids are always talking about?
Having a specific date to mock brings a small measure of joy to my otherwise humdrum life, and opening a thread the day after it doesn’t happen is vital to living life to the fullest for me. So please tell me, has a new date been set??
I’ve seen a mid-June interview with Lindell that pushed back the date from “in August” to “in six months”, but I can’t keep up with those perpetual-motion goalposts.
Perhaps they are going to wait for January 20th to come around again. Then of course when that fails to come true, the March 4th date when they used to hold the inauguration will be touted.
It seems they have learned not to name a specific date due to having no plausible deniability once the date comes and goes. Shame really, it is so rewarding to watch them fail and then see them lose no support — over and over again. The mob still believes and accepts the new conspiracy theory. There must be some loss of support as they are proven wrong or they would still be giving specific dates I suppose.
I don’t think that’s it - the people that are in it at this point are far past the point of rationality - if there’s a failure on a specific date, they absolutely accept the argument that “It would have happened, but [ insert group of choice ] sabotaged us.” Instead, they hate, Hate when the MSM or honestly, anyone mocks them using the dates they selected. They don’t want a Daily Show Montage of specific dates paraded past them. So they’ll say they’ll keep fighting, and it’ll definitely happen in the perpetual ‘future’. They aren’t going to lose anyone else unless it’s to someone who has a dramatic wake-up call, whether legal or perhaps a lost of a particularly close loved one to COVID.
Yes, that sounds right.
A lot of Trumpists did lose faith after January 6th and then the first couple of failed prophecies. But that just means those that are left are the true believers. I’ve mentioned before on this board that I thought we were seeing the formation of a new millenarian religion in real time. I really think that’s pretty much literally true.
The Great Disappointment caused most Millerites to leave the movement. But the faithful few who remained were only strengthened in their faith. This is what often happens with failed prophecies. Those who suffer a crisis of faith but come out the other side feel even more committed.
