I don’t want to burst anyones’s balloon, since I see everyone else praising the speed, but I’ve seen my last post go over a minute before returning. I’m on IE 5, with AltaVisa service running at “115200” which is 57K v.90

Well, no, actually, it’s probably the time of day.
I do the vast majority of my posting late at night (it’s now 2:04 AM… I expect awakeness for another hour, at least), and I expect that there’re fewer people on then. Well, I know that there are 'Dopers from all different time zones, but I have no other explanation. Y’see, it’s always got a good speed for me from aroun 11:00-ish 'til… well… whenever I got to bed. And I only have a 28.8 connection.
