I did not use the “p” word. I implied that IF the girl had in fact been promoting herself for as many years as I mistakingly thought and someone – anyone – was that enthralled with her to start a thread bemoaning that fact, then perhaps there should be some shame involved.
My mistake was imposing a social mores against the idolization of pre-teen sexuality upon someone in a public forum and I truly do apologize.
You are right. That was wrong of me and I do apologize again. Sincerely to Cisco and anyone else I might have offended. Although I contend there are ways to call someone on their mistake without vulgarities and offensive language. That, to me, was ungentlemanly and uncalled and that was where the Mod stepped in, for which I am grateful.
I do not think porn stars are less worthy. I think that someone who has spent her “adult” life promoting the allusion of being a pre-teen who is highly sexualized only perpetuates and encourages pedophiles. And THIS very fact is what saddens me and is the genesis of my angst in having someone like this admired. Young girls are being sexualized by society before they are ready and it is people like Tawnee Shore who helps perpetuate this. To me THAT person is less worthy; as are the producers and people in the industry who continue promoting that style of porn.
