It was a dream! It wasn't me!

[hijack]Millington and Margret…I love that site. Be sure to check back occasionally - he really does update it with new stuff periodically.[/hijack]

I occasionally wake up ticked off at my SO for something that happened in a dream. Worst part is that fairly often, I can’t figure out for a while if it was a dream or if it really happened. And sometimes it works the other way - I’m the one in trouble for something that never happened.

We usually talk about it & once it’s sorted out (e.g., dream, not real), it’s all OK.

This week, my GF grilled me about what I meant when I said “I have never spoken to you before.” in my sleep. I think she assumes that I was addressing her (in my dream.) What can you say to that?

According to Thomas Hobbes, we continue to dream while we are awake, and confuse our dreams with reality.

So your wife might have a case.
