Whenever I hit the Italics button on the post editor, it takes me to this page:

I scarcely notice that there are any italics buttons. I have a QuicKeys macro that inserts start-italics code when I hit control-i and end-italics code when I hit control-option-i and so forth. Have had it in since long before vBulletin provided quote buttons and italics buttons and so on.
However, clicks button and types and clicks button again.
Yep works for me.
