For me, my baby daughter is getting up every hour to feed, but my wife only feeds her every 2[sup]nd[/sup] or 3[sup]rd[/sup] time. All the other times I take her downstairs to swing, listen to jazz, and fall back asleep.
Because I’m a night owl, especially on weekends. Normal for me is staying up until 2am during the week, and 4am on weekends.
I’m at work.
Ahh, the joys of weather. 
Just to piss you off 
It’s 8:47GMT and I’ve been up all night coz I work shift and tend to stay on the same cycle.
Looking at Carlito’s Way, having a drink and a smoke and keeping track of the boards .
It’s morning here in Sweden
and the time is 9.50.
I’m sitting here with my morning coffee,
couldn’t live without it.
My bed hates me before 3 am. After which it’s fine and will accept me lovingly into its open… sheets?
Because I’m nocturnal.
Actually, I got off work at midnight. It is only 2:55 here.

Just got back from seeing Space Cowboys.
Stupid title, but a much better movie than I expected.
Because I woke up at 4:00 pm?
Because I was wakened by the sound of “Secret Agent Man” playing in my head. I have no idea why.
Because I got up at 3 this afternoon and I was kinda sorta halfway motivated to clean my room up. But now that you mention it, I am kinda sleepy…
(Sidenote: For a long time as a kid, I thought that song was Secret Asian Man.)
I’m four hours earlier than EDT, three hours earlier than official SDMB time.
Night time is my quiet time. Wife and kids are snoozing.
Because I haven’t been to sleep yet.
Earlier tonight, I realized that I am “officially” having a bout of insomnia. So I guess I am up because I’m an insomniac. This is the first time I’ve had insomnia for weeks on end, and I don’t like it!
It’s a little after 4am Central time
Me and my boy went out for a drink and some rhymes
hit the karaoke bar and down some brewskis
Acted like a retard and was glad nobody knew me
Listened to Eminem because I want to be him
Piss off the world, make millions and be Slim
Not Fast and just a little bit shady…
I don’t do drugs but my past is a bit hazy.
Anyways I’m just glad I don’t work in the morning
I know I’ll be sleeping in and generally be boring.
OOPs. my bad. it was the beer.
I work evenings. I’m also nocturnal.
And, because I can stay up late. It’s not illegal, you know! 
My roommate and I were up until 1:30 playing Diablo II. But like so many others, I woke up late - around 1 pm today. I work evenings, and I rarely get to bed before 5 am. I like it. The heat isn’t so bad at night.
