It's A Bear Story - An I can't think of a Witty Title This Late MMP

MOOOOOOM not grey, just southern. Should the chance arise that I can marry, I will register for the sterlin’ silver aig tray. That would be the one you put out on extra special occasions.

Also, don’t forget the paprika tomorrow!

I’m taking a break from irk but then I have to get back to it.
Maybe a short nap first?

Watching the Belmont Stakes. Burgers and fries tonight, then hockey.

But..but ,if you don’t own a deviled aig tray, you’re living in sin!

Wait, swampy’s GAY???:eek::confused::dubious::p;)

Keep your shirt on - I’m going to make myself one in my next batch of pottery. sheesh…

Wait! What? I’m GAY???:eek::confused::dubious::p;)

MOOOOOOM makin’ a ceramic deviled aig tray is all well and good for a whimisical deviled aig tray, however, you must betake yourself to a purveyor of fine, quality deviled aig trays and purchase a crystal one to be all deviled aig tray politically correct. :stuck_out_tongue:

No Triple Crown this year.

But there’s always Crown Royal!

I’m home. I had a great time. The pics will have to wait until I get a working card reader tomorrow.

I prefer Patrón, or Wild Turkey 101(The Kickin’ Chicken).

Glad you made it, and had fun ,rosie.

oh joy and happiness
the male half of the HFH came back and brought the hounds from hell with him

You gonna have a bar mitzvah?

Just got home, long day of ride, run, & fly. Beerage & movie time (that’s make, not watch)

That sucks. Do you own an axe?

I am glad for you.

The kittens’ graduated to a downstairs potty today. They haven’t really been downstairs much, so this morning everybody went down. They ran around, crazy for an hour or so.
Hubby likes shiny things and he a little full of himself, so we have lots of mirrors in the family room. The boy kitty ran full speed, into the closet door and a mirrored pedestal at least 3 times each. It’s a wonder he’s not walking sideways.

They are so happy to have friends like me who will hold them for hours, while they sleep.
Because they’re so bonded to one another, I have to hold both of them. Luckily, they only weigh about 2.5 lbs, total.

The girl has a real name now. She is, formally, Calypso, informally, Callie. She doesn’t actually come to her name yet, but, we chose it because when we called it, she looked.

I was thinking something like Cerberus, for the boy, hubby said no. I think he’s going to be responsible for his name… We’ll be calling him “boy kitty” for the next 13 years.

Pic, cats do not come to their names. They are much more intelligent than dogs.

I’ve never had a cat that didn’t [del]come[/del] acknowledge their name. I started training them early. My cats fetch, sit up and shake hands. (Well, not these cats, not yet)

The Princess’ predecessor, Felix, did come when called. Princess Allie does not.

On the irk front, F may not provide very much entertainment for a while. He called out sick yesterday (OK, fine, it happens. Friday closing shift is not a great time to do so, but things happen). He was scheduled for today’s close (and Saturday close is a BAD time to be down a cashier), and simply pulled a no-show. No call, no appearance.

Fortunately for the sanity of the rest of the cashiers, we were nowhere near as slammed as some Saturdays. Still don’t think this is going to fly with H.

Another loverly, cool morning. We were going to mow first thing because yesterday’s forecast showed rain for the coming week, but now I see tomorrow and Tues should be rain-free, so we can put it off. Since we’ve got to leave around 1130 for the meeting/picnic, I’d rather not do manual labor this morning.

Beyond that, nothing is planned. I need to get the sprinkler on the transplanted azaleas, but that’ll take no time at all.

Just another day in paradise. Happy Sunday!

Thisseems to fit right in with this thread.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis <snerk> 69! <snerk> Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 92 for the day and a fifty percent chance of rain. It rained last night and has rained some this mornin’.

Today involves deheathenization and then six people comin’ afterwards for N.O.L. All I need to do is steam the asparagus, which I shall do in the nukelator and bake the rolls. Also, warm up the ham since it’s baked and sliced already. I could serve it cold but I prefer to warm it up. I shall also put a bottle of vodka in the freezer to get nice and cold. I should go ahead and do that. After all Whiskypalians must have that most important post-Eucharist Bloody Mary!

MOOOOOOM HEE! Also, don’t forget the paprika.

Sari sorry male HFH and the hounds from hell are back. Maybe they’ll go away again soon.

Nurse! sounds like kittehs are trainin’ you well.

Nettie am I correct in assumin’ F could very possibly be unemployed shortly?

Rosie glad you had a good time!

Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Also purtification for deheathenization must commence at some point.

Happy Sunday Y’all! For those that observe, HAPPY PENTECOST!
