Wow! Finally Colorado gets some snow, and now it’s a blizzard! It started snowing at my house at about 4:30 last night and it hasn’t stopped since. We have 3 foot snowdrifts in our backyard, and we lost the horse in the neverending sea of white.
Oh wait, there he is.
We couldn’t get out of my house, so my mom had to come back from work. All our schools are closed from Springs to Walsenburg.
SpringsFest is in 2 days, and I don’t know if any of us will be able to make it out of our houses!
I’m going to go take some pictured now of my sister playing in it.
Wow!
Yeah, isn’t it great? We finally got some winter weather.
Although hearing the traffic report this morning, I called and asked my boss if it would be OK to work from home. Haha, as if I’m not just going to surf the SDMB without fear of discovery!
North Colorado Springs didn’t hardly get squat. The low front apparently was too far south for us to get much.
I have a drift that’s about 1 1/2 feet but I have bare spots in the back yard.
I wanted a buttload of snow, that’s the best snow and it’s really easy to drive in too. Much easier than when it’s slushy and then turns into horrible ice.
