Howdy Y’all! I see we have been playin’ mostly nice today so everyone gets a sticker. 
Irk was not too awful today and only two more to go, so YAY! Dindin tonight will be beef veggie soup and grilled cheese sammiches instead of last night’s leftovers which shall be consumed on Thursday since I’m makin’ chikin tacos for the kidlets over to the church house tomorrow night. It rained a bunch this afternoon and the temps have cooled down a bit which makes me want soup 'n grilled cheese. OYKW agreed via text. So mote it be.

Home at last!! About 40 minutes before my quitting time, there was an accident on the main road north from the base - a guy on a crotch rocket, reportedly speeding, hit the back of a car and became airborne. DOA at the hospital. Not surprising from the looks of his bike on a local news site. Anyway, I sat it the backup till I decided to take the long way home - I took the first U-turn I could, then went across to rt 5 north. I was almost 45 minutes later than I should have been getting home. ugh
I was going to make a nice dinner, but I just don’t want to eat, nor does my sweetie. So I guess we’ll forage.
My cube mate and I talked to the IT guy and found out it’s not the gummint’s fault that we don’t have computers - it’s the security folks in our company!! Last n00b waited 9 weeks. We just started week 4. I read Feynman’s lost lecture on planetary motion. Gotta find another book for tomorrow.
Three more days, then weekend… Do I have an attitude or what??

What is this about nicknames? Are we able to change our screen names perpetually?
I ordered from amazon today and what a mess.
My order went through without giving me the option to look at the address and everything is being shipped to the armpit. There is a glitch in the system and I can’t get in to fix it. I chatted with CS and thy can’t get in to fix it either.
Now my computer is acting up, it locked up and wouldn’t do anything. Now it’s running very slowly.
I’d have an attitude too FCM, going to irk and having nothing to do is hard. Ever harder if you have to pretend to be busy.
Just got a message that there is malware on my computer.
I wonder if it has something to do with the glitch at amazon?
Sari do you have any Internet Security software on your machine? What gave you the message about the malware?

Nicknames are the exclusive domain of the MMP - you don’t get to choose one - it is given. It may or may not have anything to do with your username - some are rather convoluted.
For example, **EmilyG **is **Midget **- because there’s an MG model called the Midget.
Just go with it. 
AirForce this is your Mumper nickname. Valid only in the MMP and anywhere else we Mumpers deign. Void where prohibited, which means pretty much void outside of the MMP. I think your doper screen name can be changed once and only once, so love the screenname before you decide to change the screen name.
