“It’s the next-to-last episode…will Ross and Rachel finally be together?”
Followed by a sickly-sweet montage.
“It’s the countdown to the last episode of the greatest comedy ever…”
Comedy? Really? The commercials could have fooled me…
Dammit, NBC. I like the show. I’m sorry to see it go. But with the way you keep trying to make it seem like the Friday AFTER the final episode will be the WORST DAY EVER!, I just want to skip the fucking show and make up my own ending.
I’ll be glad when it’s next Friday just so I don’t have to see these insipid trailers.
That Friday WILL be the worst day ever, because we will know that the series does NOT end with the violent, “Sopranos”-esque execution of the five main characters who are not launching spinoffs. But we can at least hope that Joey winds up sleeping with the fishes come next fall.
Ok, I confess I have hated them for years. I actually stopped watching about 2 years ago but because they are finally going I’m watching. We get the magazine tantalizers and we KNOW it is all available (plot wise) on the net. It is taking a damn lot of patience to see this lot go away!
Not like the good old days of the M.A.S.H final…ahhhhh them were the days.
