ok, stuuter, nothing earth-shattering going on in my life, but here goes:
I got a cat.
Actually, my SO brought home a cat and I decided we can keep it. This poor thing was seriously underfed, had been abused, and was on the verge of being put to sleep when my GF found out about it through a friend. We’ve named him Patches, and in the week we’ve had him, we has noticeably put on weight (the poor little guy needed it) and is much more frisky and playful since when we first got him.
See, so happy endings do happen. If you feel as bad as that cat did before we got him, you can move in with me too. (nudge nudge, wink wink) mmmmmmmm . . . soft, supple shoudlers . . . .

You may not think it’s much, but you and your GF saved that kitty’s life. That’s nothing to scoff at, baby. You seriously wouldn’t believe how picky some people are about their pets. Like picking out wallpaper. shrugs
Getting a pet from a shelter is like shopping at the second-hand store. Good thing there are people like you and your girl.
