you guys didn’t sneak a new server without telling us, did you? Add a few T3’s? Or poison half the registered users? Damn thing is coming up in a snap…positively freaky for the SDMB…
I’m not complaining. Although, being able to get on the boards reduces the amount of work I get done. But, it is Friday.

Less people in the office on Friday afternoon . . . it’s springtime in a lot of places around the country as well, I would bet that hooky is being played all over.
And it’s spring break for a lot of folks too.
Or maybe it’s just that the connection gods were smiling on you: everything was so damn slow for me that I finally gave up and went outside. The average time to load a page – ANY page – for me on Friday afternoon was never under two minutes.

Well, I gave up this morning already—it’s taking me about 30 minutes just to post THIS. But I can’t even go outside, unless I tell my editor I’ve just taken up smoking . . .
How 'bout we do what they did during the Gas Crisis? Only let people post on even- or odd-numbered days? That way maybe I could commit a drive-by wisecrack in MPSIMS in less than three hours?
Tell your boss you gotta go out for a fix, see if that helps any. 
Seriously, the board has really sucked lately, it’s taking me a couple hours just to go through my little forum, it ain’t right. I’ve complained and will continue trying to see what we can do, if anything, to make it a better experience for everyone and not just Stoid. (No reflection on Stoid.)
