I haven’t gotten mine, but I did get a PM last week that said it is on the way and it weighs 15 lbs.!

The rotating job actions at Canada Post have escalated into a full blown lock out. There is a possibility that Gummint will table back-to-work legislation very soon.
Online tracking shows no update since 13 June when the parcel was somewhere in Montreal. I was hoping it had made it across the border before the lockout. 
Hopefully, you won’t have to wait much longer.
I’m not worried, it will get here when it gets here. I heard the stuff about the lock out yesterday on CBC and figured it would be held up.
However, this does bring up an interesting question. If the package is coming from the other side of Canada, will they send it as far west as possible in country before it crosses the border? Or do they get it to the nearest crossing and hand off to the US postal system?

A snow globe with a bald eagle and an American flag. Very patriotic.
And a large crochet afghan, green and white. It’ll fit in very well in the office.

We had a July 4 party with an “Ugliest Souvenier” theme, and everybody brought their worst tchotchke. That one won hands down. A lifetime in DC, where even the grocery store has a tourist trap section, inures you to all but the very worst of the worst - and I find that thing hilarious! 
We accidentally got three of those Schoolhouse rock DVDs fro Christmas last year.
I recommend leaving Will and Kate in a Dr.s office or other waiting room.
“In treatment” is an HBO show about a psychiatrist and his patients. I loved it, but it’s not the sort of thing that would be interesting to watch a second time.
The cards and toys/bag were from leftover giveaway bags from her birthday party.

Ugh! This elephant sucks ass! There are so many people who either haven’t received anything, or haven’t posted to acknowledge that their parcel arrived i have no idea where to start.
is anyone interested in adopting an orphaned elephant? Also, i’ve sent many bitchy e-mails to people and only had a response from one person indicating why they haven’t shipped yet.
GAH!! Come on people - this is supposed to be fun - short changing the other participants to the tune of one elephant sucks!!
