It's fucking SNOWING. AGAIN.

Hey, pass me that bottle! Worst snow season - Northern CA suffering, too. Ski resorts around Tahoe already shuttered - conditions have been poor all winter.

I feel for you folks back east dealing with nuisance snow; can you please pass the Jet Stream westward? You’ve had enough now - time to share!!

If it helps any, my house in the MD Suburbs of DC got at least 3 inches of snow this morning.

Here you go, you guys have had it really bad, <25% normal snow pack , the PNW people are totally screwed as well. Our resorts are open, Snowbird/Alta are ok if groomers are your thing, on the Park City side it is slush and ugliness.
The lack of snow is one thing, the temperature means there has been no snow making and a lot of melt, which in turn sucks for filling the reservoirs as it will all sink into the ground rather than run off to the reservoirs.

Time to actually turn the patch of lawn into a dryscape.

Lucky Bastards!

My summer home, with the rest of the Trailer Park Boys.

I grew up a couple of hundred miles south of here, near the southern tip of Ontario. March was almost exclusively a spring month when I was growing up. It took me a long time to adjust to March being mostly a winter month here in Ottawa. It’s plus 2 C (36 F) here today. It was -20 (-4 F) yesterday morning.

We’re supposed to get 4" to 8" of snow this weekend.

Still winter.

Only about 1" forecast here, but I’m still fucking freezing. Seriously, enough!

And nothing up here. :frowning: The front yard snow is actually noticeably lower but nowhere near gone.

I don’t see anything that looks like snow around here. It’s 75 and sunny. There’s a slight breeze from the west causing the wind chimes to softly sing. I’ve noticed the two bird nests in the bushes next to the house are again occupied.

I’m enclosing some nice SoCal weather for you Anne, hope it arrives in time.

Oi, you! Shut up!

I’ll happily take snow over that.

It’s a fair cop.

Actually, it’s autumn here, so the weekend we’ll actually have rain. I shall start a Pit thread…

Seriously, though, my uncle-in-law was out here last week from Boston - he says they’ve had something like 2m of snow up to then. And he’s in the city centre. You guys all have my sympathy.

California is running between 10 and 15 percent from what I hear. Truly awful out there.

One of my coworkers had a two week trip planned doing back country stuff up near Whistler. He came back after 3 days because there was no snow up there.

The flurries are just starting here.

Ya, Boston set its all time record for seasonal snow last weekend.
We have more of it up here in canukistan. We’re turning into tunnel rats in the Maritimes.

I once read somewhere that if you want to experience all four seasons in one week, you should come to Pittsburgh. THAT’S what I hate. When it’s like, really warm one day, then really freaking cold the next. It plays havoc with my sinuses, for some reason.

Two of the worst snowstorms Atlanta has seen happened in early April. So it’s not unprecedented even in “1/4” of snow = GO BUY MILK AND BREAD NOW!" belt. Still, I feel your pain, Annie. But the Bradford pears blooming in the mild 70 degree air eases my distress.

Thanks. You can have some of our snow, I’ve heard you might want some.

Noooo! We don’t want any more of it! At least I don’t, I’m not a ski enthusiast. Those people can still find all the snow they want in the mountains, where they can ski and get buried in avalanches all day long.

They were calling for 4" - 6" here in Johnstown (PA) but we only got about an inch. It’s the heavy, wet snow that doesn’t stick around long. It’s supposed to be in the upper 40’s tomorrow so the snow should all be gone by Sunday.

As for Punxy Phil…I’ll hold him down, you kick him!

We say that about Maine, too.

East Coast?

Because it doesn’t rain or snow here all that much anymore. We got a little this winter. I guess you’re getting our precipitation.
