It's fucking SNOWING. AGAIN.

just wanted to say…
FUCK YOU, SNOW! Winter, will it never end? The calendar says it’s over, but the snow coming down right now would indicate otherwise.

(Eastern PA, BTW… Lehigh Valley)

I hate this winter.

If hate were people, I’d be China.

One more snowfall would be lovely. Just sayin’.

It was snowing this afternoon in beautiful Northern NJ. There’s a light coating on my car. So much for March sneaking out like a lamb.

Last expected storm of the ski season here in the Wasatch mountains. We may get an inch
Fuckity fuck fuck fuck

Snow pack 50%, Lake Powell 40% full, all not good for the water situation.

Snow? Hell, yes. Doing a bit of back-country skiing today and again in a couple of days, followed up by three days of lift area skiing. Playing with gravity in the great outdoors!

4 to 8" on the Front Range of Colorado between tonight and Friday morning, although most of it will melt on contact. It’s been in the 70’s the last few days and the ground is very warm.

We had snow here today. But then it is NE Scotland.

muffin , where are you skiing?

We’re expecting freezing rain here tomorrow morning at rush hour. Great.

Beautiful today, in the upper 60s, rain in tomorrow with a high of 70, then forecast to be cooling with snow showers possible Friday night and early Saturday a.m. (melting with Sat p.m.'s upper 40s highs) with highs back up into the low to mid 60s next week.

Spring in the Midwest.

Flatland in the middle of the continent. Was skiing near Marathon, Ontario, today (Wolf Lake / Mt. Seeley – here’s an old vid). Probably won’t ski tomorrow (there’s lots of snow at Manitouwadge, but I have to drive from there to Thunder Bay tomorrow after work). On Friday either lift area in Thunder Bay, Ontario, (Loch Lomond) or across the border in Minnesota (Lutsen). Lift area Sat, Sun and Mon in Minnesota. Too much driving this week for me to make it to Bohemia in da You-Pee of Michigan for their bash this weekend.

Got a kick out of your userid, for I’m skiing on precambrian shield.

Sorry to be passing it on to you. I spent five hours driving in it very early this morning. The forecast was for snow or rain. Instead, what we got froze to the windshield instantly, and made for very slippery conditions. Drive safe, Leaffan!

Sweet vids.
I am an Alpine Touring bindings person myself, the people I back country with are a 50/50 mix of tele and AT.
Hopefully you will be skiing a few feet above Precambrian shield, if you actually see a bare patch and hit rock, don’t feel too bad, that’s what the whole west coast looks like.

hands round the bottle of fukitall again

Yeh, a lot of folks around here head out west for the end of the season, but this season are griping a lot about the brown. We’re having a snow drought in the region too, but not as bad a one. Meanwhile, those lucky folks on the east coast are getting hammered with white.

A lot more flat than vertical around here, so although I have tele and AT set-ups (Dukes), usually I’m on tele or cross-country when in the back-country. And rocks? Yeh, we’s gots rocks. Lots of zombie rocks, reaching up out of the snow with their evil clasping claws.

It’s possible it’s going to snow again here, too. It snowed less than twi week ago, though the high was in the 70s (low 20s for you furriners) for the past few days.

That’s interesting. In the last five years the Ft Smith area has received 54 inches of snow, when the average would have been 29. At the same time precipitation is less than normal. Same thing for Tulsa.

Yeah, screw it. I took the day off. I’m not driving in this shit today.

Nap time.

Better safe than sorry.

Passover may have originated from a Canaanite ritual intended to stop the winter rains. Clearly, we need some kind of ritual to stop the snow. Ideally, this would involve drinking at least four cups of wine. (Someone else will have to do my drinking for me this year, though, since I’m pregnant :()

It’s snowing like crazy now.
