Eh. 28 inches last weekend, a couple of more Tuesday, and then 5 inches last night. Pretty slick this morning what with the warm roads quickly turning to ice.

A bit over 22 feet of snow for the season. Snow pack is a little bit less than average I think, but the last 3 feet have helped.

I switched back to my winter coat today after a week in just a hoodie. It’s 3, going down to -2 C again tonight.
Really, it has been horrible this winter in the northeast.
Coldest three months (Jan-Mar) for the northeast US. Ever.

It’s not just that it seems like the snowiest, coldest winter ever. It actually has been.

If somebody is bemoaning their snowy fate, and it actually is the worst goddamn winter they ever went through, with the most goddamn miserable snow ever, it helps them cope a little. It’s not just you. It really was/is a shitty winter.

Today is lovely. You know the worst part of this winter and the reason why everyone not on the East Coast of America is shrugging? Because everywhere else in the world, it was a warmer than normal winter. Is there such a thing as a cold sink? Cuz we got that covered here.
I drove to Monterey Friday. It snowed in the mountains. On the way home, there was over a foot on the ground!
