I know it’s the Pit, but science actually predicted this shitty as hell record cold fucking snow.
I plan to start asking for Internet donations to buy them an air-conditioned birdhouse.
There is some clever inside joke there.
Where the hell is Miller?
Lord Thundering Jesus! Will this winter never end? Grrrrrrrr…
Snow. Again. With cold and strong winds…
:::::::::heavy, HEAVY, sigh::::::::::::
Tuesday turned out to be even hotter than they thought. It hit 44 degrees Celsius, which is 111.2 degrees Fahrenheit. Yesterday was not much better. We’ll see how today (Thursday) pans out. I have hopes it won’t reach 110 F.
But is it snowing?
What is “snow”?
The subject of this topic.
It’s either a horrible curse, or a wonderful thing, depending on if you are going to the ski resort, or to work.
The weatherman says there is a chance of flurries Friday night. This has got to stop.
Excusez-moi, do any of you silly snow bunnies know where I can get a high-quality floating chaise longue? You know, the kind with the drink holders and little sun protector umbrella for the head? [raises Margarita]Cheers![raises Margarita/].
Really? Those of us suffering a long, LONG, cold, miserable extended winter, cannot even have a thread to commiserate with each other about our long suffering, without some jerkwads coming in to crow, “It’s hot where I am!”
You suck. Start your own stupid thread already! Leave us to shiver in misery. Do is all a favour and take your childish behaviour elsewhere!
It’s OK, we can giggle at their encounters with sticky humidity, drought, hurricanes, raspberry crazy ants and other desirable manifestations of hot climates.
Or not.
That’s absolutely insane!
Yeah, it’s a dick move for sure. The lack of sympathy and empathy online, it’s fucked up.
I live in Florida, and it was an extremely warm winter, with record hear recently, but I avoided mentioning it, since that’s just cruel to people suffering cold. But I moved to the DC area, and in 09-10, went through the absolutely worst winter snow anybody had ever experienced (record snowfall), I can relate to the horror of a seemingly unending winter, and unheard of snow. It actually scared me, and I have been through hurricanes, landslides, flash floods, earthquakes, major floods and wildfires, where lives were lost and the shit got real.
But heavy snow, and long lasting cold, they fucking scare me, especially since I grew up in Florida. There’s a reason most people do not live where it snows a lot, and is cold. It sucks.
Maybe we’ll go poop in their threads about the heat, humidity, or hurricanes this summer.
You said “poop”
Last night, flurries. Grrrrrr…
This morning two inches. Ugh…
And now, more flurries.
If I was suffering from snow and cold, (what, seven months of snow now?), I would have gone insane.
Hell, I’m angry that it’s snowed on a baseball game on April 22. What the hell?
