Now what did I tell you? You feel that? That little tickle is soon going to be stifling, then you won’t be able to breathe at all.
I just turned the heat back on again. This time I was glad I had the Celtling to use as an excuse. The house was down to 50, and the sun had only just set. It’s also raining and very windy.
le sigh.
It was 24ºC here today - supposed to be 27 tomorrow. Then, as usual, back to cold, rainy and crappy for the May Long Weekend.
We’ve been having great weather lately. I golfed this past weekend, and got some yard work done after work today. I was looking forward to planting a few things this weekend, but I guess that may have to be put on hold.
You can plant as long as it doesn’t go belong zero - I’m planting here already (based on the forecast to stay above zero as far as they can foresee at this point). At some point you just have to pull the trigger and cross your fingers.
I have the heat on this morning. It isn’t terribly cold in my house 64F, but chilly enough that I want to take the edge off. It is chilly and cold out and misting and I have to go running. I don’t want to start by being chilly - I’ll get chilly enough once I get out there.
i have been sleeping with the windows open, hubby has moved to the living room. He has thyroid issues, I have hot flashes. sigh I have been thinking of moving into a walk in freezer:(
I have never seen snow.
You’re not missing much. It’s cold, wet and makes your nose go all red and shiny.

I thought the booze did that.
Well, that too, but in the cold you can blame the snow.
We get snow just about every month of the year where I live too, it finally quit snowing last week, maybe.
Once I get filthy, stinking rich (as opposed to just filthy and stinking) I’m definitely going to look into spending winter in a warmer climate, so that would mean pretty much being gone oct/nov through may
In 2 months I am going to Aomori, Japan. It snows there more than anywhere else in the country. The record snowfall is 209 cm, almost 7 feet.
