He’s in love with Hillary. He’s Hillary Boy!
Don’t know how “they’re looking into her server” = she’s “wildly crooked” or “dangerously stupid” (both are hyperbolic, but the second is just ridiculous).
When you’re chief of the FBI and NSA under 3 administrations spanning both parties, I’ll put some stock in your opinions of what constitutes stupid regarding Hillary’s illegal server. Until then, I’ll just count it as a partisan trying to cover for Hillary.
It’s funny you’ve seized on Hayden as your credible source, because of all the people investigating and commenting on this, he is by far the easiest to paint as a lying right-wing ideologue. He’s a perjurious torture apologist.
Obama has not forgotten or forgiven Hillary’s dirty tricks campaign against him. Neither have the ‘West Coast’ faction of the party.
Obama has a serious hate-on against Bill and Obama will move heaven and earth to make sure Bill ‘The Love Muscle’ never gets to hang out in the Oval Office with ‘The Energizer Bunny’, who makes cookies for the secret service detail when Hillary is away.
Obama and the DNC have already tapped Biden b/c Obama knows Biden will basically insure Obama’s third term visa vi enacting and enforcing Obama’s of plan to “fundamentally change the country”.
Hillary knows her days are numbered by now. She’s already written the chair of the DNC explaining that she must withdraw from the race due to ‘health concerns’.
Final Dem. ticket will be Biden and Warren as VP.
Final Rep. ticket will be Trump and Carly as VP.
It may well have been stupid and dangerous. But doing something stupid and dangerous does not translate to the person being “dangerously stupid” or “wildly crooked”. Smart and honest people have done stupid and dangerous things before.
And what else happened in your dream?
Or do you, ya’ know, have some evidence to support any of this? I’d especially like to see something about the letter she wrote to the DNC chair explaining that she is withdrawing. Funny how that hasn’t made the news.
Wow, so much here.
OK, he was so bitter at Hillary that he put her in his cabinet. Makes sense.
As Obama said, he tolerates Bill in small doses. But both men recognize that they’re on the same side of the larger battle.
Biden would be no more a third term of Obama than Poppy Bush was a third term of Reagan.
I don’t have your inside intel on Hillary’s resignation letter. Do divulge your source.
If Hillary drops, Biden gets it. If he’s smart, he picks Julian Castro.
If Trump gets nominated, the Dems could nominate a ham sandwich and win.
While your label for that link is provocative, it doesn’t really address what the probe is doing. They are looking to see if anything classified was leaked.
Now, try to put aside your ravenous angst for a second, and consider what this means: 1) To date, there is no evidence that any classified information was leaked 2) The Justice Department is understandably checking to confirm that this is still true.
That’s the entirety of the facts in the story. The rest of the article is from former government insiders speculating on what this would entail, along with expected campaign platitudes.
So, please, explain to me what “shenanigans” were pulled. All that you can credibly say is that Clinton owned a private email server, which she used while serving as Secretary of State.
What emails were on that server, whether they were deemed classified (either then or later), who saw them…this is all just speculation.
This email stuff has nothing to do with classified information. There won’t be any security breaches. It’s all about being too stupid to run her little office properly and acting like a paranoid idiot. The Republican plan has been to put the scarlet S for scandal on her and it’s been working. The public is tired of Clinton scandals, they don’t care whether there’s any substance to them, and it’s obvious that if she became president it would never end.
I agree with this completely. If you are a Clinton, it is an act of stupidity to do anything that could be construed, even in the most asinine way, as being underhanded or scandalous. And I think you are right that her own mindset of wanting total control may have been her comeuppance. I also firmly agree that there was never any security breach, and that the scandal is really a lot of hot air.
But, scandal it is. It won’t go away, and neither will its antecedent, Benghazi. And, ultimately, I think that the American public are sick of hearing about Clinton scandals. It will either be a situation where potential supporters don’t vote for her because they don’t want to endure 4 (or 8) years of more of this nonsense, or they will just tune out every mention of Clinton scandal (justified or not) as all being just one big hissy fit by her political opponents. Personally, given her lack of charisma, I think it will be the former.
I’ve mentioned him twice. And dozens of other people as well. It’s funny you’ve seized on Hayden as the one who you can discredit rather than all the others.
He’s the only one you’ve chosen to individually elaborate on at length, not just once but twice, as you point out.
And my point was simply that it was an odd choice of yours. It doesn’t change the force of the allegations against Hillary.
It was an odd choice of NPR–perhaps NPR is part of the Limbaugh Network that’s OUT TO GET Hillary.
And my “elaboration” was explaining where “dangerously stupid” came from. Which was that guy.
I’m glad you agree.
Uh huh. That’s why you wrote, “When you’re chief of the FBI and NSA under 3 administrations spanning both parties, I’ll put some stock in your opinions of what constitutes stupid regarding Hillary’s illegal server.”
You weren’t holding him up as credible or anything. You were just stating the source of the quote.
So you deny that he was chief of the FBI and NSA? I stated factually his credentials. You added to that other stuff that I was unaware of. So? And I said it in response to someone who was trying to parse “stupid and dangerous” as substantially different to “stupidly dangerous”
My main point is that it’s not just “Hillary Haters” or whatever the term that Elvis is trying to coin is. Regardless of this guy being pro-torture–I’ll concede that from what you quote, he’s an iffy character. BUT, he still served under Clinton, Bush and Obama…2/3ds Democrat and credible enough that NPR (again, hardly "Hillary Haters[sup]tm[/sup]) picked him for a quote. It’s not like this is the Washington Times going to Glenn Beck.
I still don’t understand how she could possibly do her job as S of S and not expect to send or receive classified emails.
Secure phones and written material sent in secure pouches I guess.
It’s not that she can’t/shouldn’t get classified e-mails, she shouldn’t store ANY government related e-mails on a secret homebrew server stashed in a toilet in someone’s loft?
In other words, if she had just used the government servers that every! other! person! from President Obama to the (hyperbole alert) White House janitor (/end hyperbole) is require by law to use for work/government related business, this wouldn’t be an issue.
Reading comprehension is not your strong suit, I take it. The article doesn’t say that Clinton’s email server was in a bathroom loft. The article states that the company who set up the email server operated out of a loft apartment which kept its servers in a bathroom. The company’s. Not Hillary’s.
Clinton’s email server was located at her home in upstate New York. Which the secret service guards.
It wasn’t required by law when she was Secretary of State.
Reports are saying that the server was erased before they turned it over to the FBI. The FBI is working to recover what it can.
I wonder if an Obstruction of Justice charge might be in Hillary’s future?
