What spooky treats are you cooking up for Halloween this year?

My simple Fall snacks are:
Hot spiced cider
Homemade donut holes
Apples and sharp cheese spread.
I get some tart red and green apples, slice and core them. Dip in lemon juice to keep from darkening. Arrange on a plate and set a pot or two of cheese spreads on the plate.
This week I made pumpkin curry. In a couple more weeks I’m making Freddie Krueger’s house out of gingerbread.
My favorite Halloween recipe: Swampwater punch = orange juice and blue food coloring. The punch turns a cloudy disgusting shade of green, enhanced by the oj pulp floating in there. Guests will drink it and realize it is sweet and delicious, but won’t be able to figure out the “ingredients”.
I help my mom make home made glazed doughnuts every year. She hands them out to trick or treaters. Since it’s a 30 year old tradition, they come specifically for the doughnuts and none get thrown out because they know my mom’s house is safe. 
A fun serving idea is to use a pumpkin as a crudites server. You cut the hole in the top big enough to nestle a dip bowl in. Then you skewer pieces of veggies and cheese (and meats f you want) and insert them along the indention lines on the pumpkin, resulting in a sort of Pinhead-looking thing.
There’s kitty litter cake which many people find disgusting looking but I just love! Plus, it’s really tasty.
You can make little pizzas using English muffins for the bases. Use sliced mozzarella and cut it into thin strips. Toast the muffins, top with sauce (pesto is a good replacement for red sauce if you want to mix it up), place two green olive halves (with pimento) for eyes and them lay/wrap the strips of cheese across the muffin to look like mummy faces–Mummy Muffin Pizzas!
Googling kitty litter cake has left me speechless.
