Not my issue much. I usually don’t do that although if there were two Charlies running around the show and I couldn’t tell from context who was being talked about “Hobbit” would have made it clearer. I know it took me a while to get everyone’s name down on that show season one. Now we’re in season three and to be honest I’m not all that sure who is a “lostie” or “tailie” or an “other” and when I popped back into the Lost threads after not having been there in awhile I had no idea who this Benry guy was but you know it didn’t take me long to figure it out and it didn’t give me a brain aneurysm. If that’s the culture in Lost threads let them have at it. It’s no hair off my ass-crack. They’re the ones who spend all the time there and it’s their playground (the thread, not my ass-crack).
I get the impression you don’t watch the show that regularly or at least you don’t read the threads all that much. I’ve been with it from the beginning and I’ve got the mini-series, season one and season two DVD’s to prove it. Whachyougot? If I dislike a show as much as you seem to, I don’t post to the threads because it comes off as bitter, hostile, and downright weird. I also don’t WATCH shows that make me as disgruntled as BSG seems to make you. Adama gets in the ring and tries to beat the crap out of Tyrol for getting too close to his subordinates and makes a speech about how it was his mistake to let them get too close and cut them slack and then tell me why this makes perfect sense for his character to then praise Kat for disobeying orders, getting herself killed and promoting her to CAG posthumously thereby sending the message to all his pilots they should freely ignore orders and get themselves killed heroically if they’re serious about being advanced?
