"It's like being kissed on the mouth by God with a mouthful of whiskey."

Why does that crack me up no matter how many times I hear it.

[It’s a quote from “American Dad” for those who don’t know"**
Anybody else have favorite sitcom one liners?

My grandfather is fond of this line from an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond:

“It smells like a skunk that crawled out of the ass of another skunk.”

From the Simpsons, somebody commenting on a musical performance: “It sound like somebody hitting a baby with a cat!”

More Simpsons, Chalmers commenting on Skinner:

“The broom up that man’s ass has a broom up it’s own ass.”

Actually, “The rod up that man’s butt must have a rod up its butt,” referring to what I believe is something Skinner actually got after his experiences in 'Nam. Not to hijack this into an all-Simpsons thread, but Superintendent Chalmers is comic gold especially when teamed with Skinner: Besides the whole “Skinner and the Superintendent” sketch from “22 Short Films About Springfield” (“The Arora Borialis? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, located entirely within your kitchen? Can I see it?”), there’s this exchange which I believe is from “Sweet Seymour Skinner’s Badassssss Song” (I’m paraphrasing):

Ralph Wiggum: What’s a battle?
Chalmers: Did he just say “what’s a battle?”
Skinner: No, he said “what’s that rattle.” There’s a rattling noise.
Chalmers: Really. Because it sounded to me like he said “battle.”
Skinner: No, he said “rattle.” I think. I have a hearing problem.
Chalmers: So you hear "r"s as "b"s?
