I assume they’re doing the maintenance for the tanks where they are based, (Las Vegas area) but I can’t imagine they’re coming out to the East coast to do maintenance for tanks they build there.
Bleh, I sort of wish our buddies weren’t coming over to watch the game. It would be nice to relax.
The picture I posted was from a craft fair a few months ago, not the one I was just in, but it gives you an idea of what stuff I make.
**Spaz****Cat, **thank you for calling my hedgehogs “hedgehogs.” Many people call them mice. One called them possums. It doesn’t really bother me, as long as people like them.
And swampy, when I was exhibiting the bright pink piano in the fair a few months ago, it actually got sold. Two young boys came to my table and asked what the pianos were made out of, and I said they were made from cardboard. The boys went away and came back with money, and one of them bought the neon pink piano, and the other bought a more standard black one.
Home from the grocery store - I need to remember that Sunday is not a good day to run out for food. But I got what I needed so there’s that.
It’s gotten rather nice out - mid-60s and sunny and a bit breezy. Not warm enough to open the house up, but still nice. Higglet is out in the yard - I hope she runs around a lot and tires herself out.
Gotta get motivated to hit my studio. I really like working in clay, but I hate the cleanup afterwards, and I think that’s what makes it tough for me to get moving. We shall see…
And on the good craft-related news, Midget and Sticky!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone! Nephew, brother and I are about to go out for a cellebratory lunch. Yay!
I imagine part of the afternoon will involve continued emptying of nephew’s new room as well. I’d like for him to have a real room as soon as possible, although he seems comfortable just being here.
The mystery of the escaping puglet has been solved. She got out again today and I decided to try to figure out how she’s doing it. I was walking along the fence on the street side of the yard and I noticed a lot of places where the fence was not attached to the bottoms of the posts. Then I got to a spot where it was not only not attached, but it was curled up a bit, and as I got there, a certain little black dog casually scooted under and joined me.
It’s very fortunate that she hasn’t been hit by a car - they zip along that section of road, and she does like chasing them when she’s in the yard. Anyway, looks like **FCD **has a chore either this afternoon or tomorrow. Idiot dog.
My sweetie is home and he’s been shown the puppeh escape routes. Laundry is in, folded, and put away - I do love the smell of line-dried sheets and towels!
Why do they like to be little escape artists MOOOOOOM? Every dawg I’ve ever had seemed to always be on the prowl for ways to escape. However, come feedin’ time I was their bestest friend ever in the whole world.
Not late, it’s still my birthday for a few more hours.
So, lunch turned out to be a little surprise do with Local Best Friend’s family. We went to their house, where my brother had dropped off good Chinese, a pie and a cake.
We had a fun, relaxed time. The boys played basketball for a while and LBF and I took the baby for a walk, which gave us a chance to have a nice long chat.
Hanging out, about to make sure nephew’s homework is done.
Is someone starting us off tomorrow? i might do it, if no one else does.
