It's Monday, let's begin the MMP

I’m so damned ugly, I’ll take 'em where I can get them… :stuck_out_tongue:

Awww, BBBobbio, you’re not *that *ugly…

<grope>

*offers **Bobbio *a bunch of grapes

That is what you wanted, right?

The Hell he’s not.
They hung a pork chop around his neck when he was a kid so that the dog would play with him.

I prefer so ugly he’d scare a dawg off a meat wagon.

Low country boil has been pronounced a success. We ate, we drank, we laughed. Best of all everybody left after a couple of hours as planned. Everything is all cleaned up and dishwasher is dishwashin’ away.

All is good.

I haven’t been around the boards much in a few days because I’d been busy at a craft fair. I did pretty well.

Very cool!

Home from work.

Spaz is really The Grapist!

Yay!

: distributes random gropes to female Mumpers :

Home at last

Made the loud and all went well for my first gig, in ten years, at the Grande Casa de Rock. I destroyed nothing and probably have a new job, as in JOB. Yeah go me.

Hugs, boos, scritches and how ya doings as needed

Beer and bed

Jim

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 52 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 77 for the day. Nice Fallish weather!

Midget yay for doin’ good at the craft fair!

Jim beer and bed gives me a brilliant idea. See, this would be a take on bed and breakfast. What one would get is beer and bed. I just know it would make bazillions!

And now this…

<AHEM> CLEARING THROAT <AHEM>

HAAAPPPYYY BIIIRRRTTTHHHDDDAAAYYY TOOOOOO YOUUUUUU!!!

Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence. If’n OYKW says he does not want to deheathenate I may betake myself to Luterun deheathenization just cause I’m awake already.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

I guess I can pick up on swampy’s subtleties…
Happy GT Day!!!

We went to bed early last night - like around 9 - and amazingly, Higgs slept in till 5:30, so we’s both well-rested. My sweetie just left on his bike, clad in many layers, including chaps. The HOG chapter is going someplace in VA to eat. I swear, those guys never plan a ride that doesn’t end with food or ice cream. I figure he’ll be back mid-afternoon.

I’ve got a load of towels in the washer and a load of jeans standing by. And I plan to have some studio time today, plus I will do a few quick things in the garden. There’s also a quick trip to Food Lion on the agenda - we’re almost out of milk!!

Mostly, I think it’ll be a pretty easy day - no rush, no schedule, no biggie.

Happy Sunday!!

RT is here! Literally here. Ok, not in my computer, but he’s here at my house and he’s going to day 2 of my show with me (the poor man).

I’m glad that your show went well, Midget. Mine has been surprisingly good, as well. It’s too bad I don’t have any spoon rings to display. Right, rosie?
:grope: for VBob and, what the heck, for doggio, too!

Congrats on the job,** Jim**!

And, last but not least, Happy Birthday, GT!!!

What do you craft? Seriously, I don’t know, or haven’t picked up on it!

Happy, happy birthday, GT!

We’ve got friends coming over this morning to watch the Seahawks game. I wish it was a later game, but whatever. The game starts at 10:00 am our time.

My daughter and son-in-law came down yesterday and hung out with us. It was nice spending time with them.

My son will be coming home for Thanksgiving break and I’m looking forward to seeing him too. The break officially starts the 25th, but I’m hoping he heads home on the weekend so I can actually spend some time with him.

I had a weird dream about fish tanks. I’m thinking it’s because I watched Tanked the other night. It’s a show about guys who build and stock very fancy fish tanks. I don’t ever want another fish tank again. I do not miss the maintenance involved at all.

Happy birthday GT!

I’m going to do a whole lot of nothing today. I came down with a bad case of “don’t feel good” yesterday, so while I feel better today I’m going to rest up so my body can fight off the infection. I’ve learned the hard way this is necessary to prevent worse in the future.

In other news, I’m about to assassinate every single damn fruit fly that buzzes me. I have three (3) vinegar traps set up to catch these little bastards and there’re still a million of them around.

Happy Birthday gt!!!

Up, caffeinated, oof to watch hockey practice.

ETA: “oof” to practice? I’m hanging around too many Canadians, eh?

Those guys built a couple of tanks that are in the Annapolis Mall - we happened to catch the end of that episode, so we decided to go see the tanks in person. heh.

First thing we noticed was that the Mall removed a lot of the external accouterments - like the sail that hung over the seating area. You just know that thing was a climbing invitation for kids.

Secondly, there were lots fewer fish than were shown on TV - this was maybe 4 months after, so that didn’t speak well of the mortality of the fish.

Finally, they had decorated the tanks with fake corals painted the most unnatural, gawd-awful neon colors - they were disturbing in their hideousness.

And, yeah, as with most of their shows, we couldn’t figure out how the heck one was supposed to clean and maintain the tanks. Our relatively small 125-gallon setup takes a lot of time and effort to keep nice. Anyway, we quit watching Tanked - it was more annoying than entertaining.

I’ve got the towels and jeans out on the line. I’ve had breakfast. In a little while, I’m going to go play in my studio. For now, I’m still surfing - priorities, you know.

Happy GT Day!!!

**FCM, **when I saw it the other night, it was the first time I’d ever seen it. I noticed a couple of the guys were painting the corals for one of tanks they were building and that did turn me off. And, you’re right; they don’t ever talk about the maintenance involved. Of course, the people I saw them build the tanks for probably had “people” come in and do the maintenance. They were all very well off or were corporations.

Just about done with the coffee and then it’s time to tidy the kitchen.

I suspect they make a lot of money maintaining the tanks they build.
