I haven’t been paying attention this week, spending time of with my Beloved Mrs. Plant (v.3.0).
Who are these New People with their foofy dog harnesses?
Thanks flytrap.
Aaand now back to work. Making crafts for the craft fair. Or “craft items” or “small handcrafted objects” because the word “craft” is apparently incorrect.
Anyway. I’ll be up late today.
Damned foreigners.
Canadians don’t count as foreigners; y’all are right next door, and you like The Band.
Levon Helm was an Arkansan!
Yes, The Band are cool. (Is cool?)
I’m up past my usual bedtime. Should turn on in soon.
So when you told me your heart skipped a beat when we met in Istanbul, it was nothing special?:(
Flytrap, Pugs is a returning regular. Do you not read you Mumper memos?
Still liking the job.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis a very pleasant 61 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 78 for the day. Too bad I’ll be inside all day. Much, much paperirky stuff to deal with plus a conference call. ICK!
doggio glad you’re still likin’ the new gig.
Ok, now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, alas and alack, purtification for irk must commence. Le sigh.
Happy Thursday Y’all!
Just like Midget, I have a craft show this weekend. Generally I think that craft shows suck for selling my items, but I happen to love this one. And it’s not so much for how much money I make, but that it has a real homey feel to it and every year when I get to this show I feel like I’ve accomplished something that I’ve made it this far through the year and now the holidays have come. As a matter of fact, if you were bored enough to look up my posts from a year ago, I might have said the same thing then about this show. What’s even better is that RT will be home and he’s going to hopefully hang out with me at the show for awhile.
Yesterday’s field trip was very, very cool. As a matter of fact, I researched volunteering at the place myself, but they’re only open during the day on weekdays and I would only be available on weekends. Nonetheless, it’s been the best community location that we’ve visited so far. I’m looking forward to going back again next month.
Ok, I’d better to find breakfast (and eat it, too). Everyone have a happy almost Friday!
Haha. Yes, having my heart skip a beat is rather unromantic, I’m afraid.
Good luck with your craft show, Sticky.
Blurf.
Morning all.
Midget, I have the same problem as you, although it does not occur as frequently as yours is sounding. I hate that funny fluttery feeling I get right before it starts. I had a couple incidents last year where is spead up for 24 hours and would not calm back down, but eventually it settled.
Its rainy and blurfy here in southron Virginny.
Lucky! ::jealous::
Interwebs are still out at home. The modem needs to be reset and Landlord is out of town. No biggie, I’m getting a lot of cross-stitching done.
Today is Billy Graham’s one-point reduction on the Deathpool from six to five. There is a Big Birthday Bash down at Big Historic [strike]Convention Center[/strike] Hotel. I usually take the street towards BHCCH on my way home as a shortcut. Not today! Today I shall go The Back Way!
Midget, sounds like Quebec is going off the eighteenth-century sermon rules for naming things.
yeah. that.
Happy Thorsday all
I am about to help Computer Geek install a tankless hot water heater system, this oughta be interesting.
Full report later
Cheers all
Jim the Installer
Dammit, Jim, you’re a doctor, not a plumber!
I’m doing laundry. Gordie is home unsupervised.
Winchester ate my glasses yesterday. I have two pairs and I trade off. The pair I’m not wearing is usually sitting on the coffee table. There had been a pair of glasses on the table for literally weeks, unmolested. Apparently yesterday, he was walking past and thought “Today is the day.”
Sure, I got them online for like ten bucks and I have a spare pair, but I’m mystified. The only thing I can come up with is that the landscapers were outside at some point yesterday and he got scared by the machines, so he ate something.
Stoopid dog. And I couldn’t even reprimand him for it because by the time I found the glasses, days had passed for him.
Howdy Y’all! Irk is gettin’ irkier by the minute. Seriously. It’s act up everywhere week I do believe. Problem after problem after problem. Thus I am takin’ a break for a bit. It’s been a day to do nuttin’ but put out fires so far.
Drae for days Winchester resisted that tasty snack. You, however, kept tauntin’ him by leavin’ that tasty snack within reach. Finally his willpower gave out. You should not have taunted the poor dawg so!
Ima go surf some now.
Ah yes, I see, it’s entirely my fault.

**Puggy **- where are pics of the new dawg in her foo-foo acoutrements??? <tapping foot impatiently>
Coming today by You Pee Ass. Pics will be posted on “that other” website.
Happy Thorsday!
It’s a rainy 57 degrees out with a projected high of 59.
I’m back from pet sitting and I’m glad for it.
I have piddle pup this weekend, but I am so tired of the smell of dog pee that I could scream. Last night the big dog refused to go out, then I remember her bumping me in the middle of the night. I guess then she needed to go out because I woke up later and I could smell the pee before I was halfway downstairs. At least it was on the laminate, not the carpet.
I am so tired and so happy to be back home.
I have an appointment to take the truck in tomorrow but I think I will change it to Moonday. I have to get other work done because some ah keyed the side of my truck. I asked a guy who does body work what it should cost and he said the scratches aren’t so bad and I could buff them out myself. So maybe I’ll pay a friend a few bucks to do it even though insurance will cover the whole cost with no deductible.
I need a nap, I never sleep well at my client’s house.
Then I can catch up on all the news.
