Oh, boy! Today I hit the big 4-0! If I stretch up on my tippy toes, I can now get a glimpse of the other side of that hill I’m heading over! :wink:

I don’t have any real plans for today (OK, except for that big pan of brownies I’m making later), but I rang in my birthday last night at the karaoke club. That was fun! And my kids greeted my with a big “Happy Birthday” as soon as they got up. Oh, and I got a gift from one of my younger sisters yesterday. She sent me one of those “stress relief” squeeze balls–and they are literally squeeze BALLS. The thing is in the shape of a scrotum. :eek: I just about died laughing when I saw it!

I hit the big 36 at the end of the week. My husband will join you in celebrating 40 on 6/16. His official birthday is 6/16/66. He’s one six away from being the devil. :wink:

Thanks, guys! It’s been a pretty good day so far! Still have to make those brownies, though–as if I really needed an excuse for chocolate! But today, at least, I can have them without the side order of guilt! :wink:
