Thanks!
(How many of us 4/5ers are there, I wonder?)
Well I know of at least two others in my immediate circle of friends.
Oi! You beat me to it! (I was waiting till it was the 4th all over…)
I still can’t believe I had a 4th of May birthday for 25 years before somebody first thought to make that joke:cool:
Happy Birthday!
It’s my brother’s birthday.
I should send him a card…
happy birthday!
I’m a 5/5th’er, born on Derby day, and it was Decidedly in the run for the roses. That was almost my middle name, but they went with the existing family trend and gave me Anne.
My old summer camp (which my brother just signed up for yesterday) has a special happy birthday song:
Happy birrrrrthday to you!
clap clap
It’s your birthday, we wish you many more
Health and wealth and friends by the score
Cut the cake and let’s eat some more
Happy birrrrrthday to you!
clap clap
How old is everyone, by the way?
I can’t believe I’m twenty. Twenty!
It’s my sister’s birthday today so I should probably call her. She turns 44.
Yup, my sis’ b-day, too. 47, I believe. I feel like an ass, because she was over yesterday and I didn’t even think of it. Sent her an e-mail today, though. She seemed to appreciate that. We’re not a family that’s huge on gifts.
Happy birthday, madrabbitwoman, and the rest of you.
I was driving round with a friend of mine on “the morning” (it’s yesterday for me now) and she asked me "is this a special birthday?
I had no idea what she meant until about an hour later when I twigged what she really meant was “forty yet?”. Except a bit more polite than that.
Not quite. 39.
I’m rather pleased that I have made it to 36
It’s my brother’s birthday today, too. The joke would be lost on him. I don’t think he even remembers seeing Star Wars et al when they first came out. He’s 46 today.
Thanks. Yesterday was my 30th birthday, and I was delighted to see that it’s Star Wars day as well. May the fourth be with all of us.
