What happened to the friends you could rely on to drop everything for a drink? It’s noon (almost) and I can’t find anyone to join me.
Can it be work, that prevents my fellow drinking partner to “take a load off,” on the stool next to me? Most likely not.
A woman? Yeah right!!
Drinking with another? Why torment myself with such awful images of enjoyment without me.
A disfiguring accident? It better be.

YEP: I hear your pain.
Tomarrow is friday and my boss is on vacation. And there’s a good bar down the street that serves food.
I have a plan.

Tomorrow?..What? You mean today’s Thursday?
Man, I really need a drink.
I gotta get to my dive.
What type of bar do you regular at?
Mine. Small, smokey, and crappy. Just the way I like it, keeps the hotties away so your mind is on one thing only.

Since when has being at worked stopped anyone from getting a good drunk on? I’ll have a few shots in your honor.

I wish I had a few shots here at work. My MSN Instant Messenger is driving me to drink.

If you’re in the Chicago area near Oak Park, I’ll meet you at Healy’s in 1/2 an hour.
It’s a little to bright and friendly a place for my tastes (I like bars NOT clubs ), but it’ll do.

That’s why God invented bartenders.
