They hint that because he never criticizes any other country. We never hear him slam Poland, for example, for demanding a reference to Christianity in the EU 50th anniversary declaration, or Iran for electing scum like Ahmadinejad, or Zimbabwe for torturing, or Saudi Arabia for being “rabidly religious”. It’s just America, America, America, leading one to conclude that he has a unique hard-on for our own special brand of evil.
As he’s said before, it’s because America is where he lives, and America is what he knows. He has said that he’d probably be the same about whatever country he lived in.

Meh. If it wasn’t the U.S. stirring up shit, it’d be someone else, possibly with even less class. And if it wasn’t Der Trihs blathering on, it’d be someone else.
That’s all well and good but it’s now become boring and predictable. He’s like a nightclub comic that hasn’t changed his material in 10 years. Any time someone says something complimentary about the US, DT jumps in to rip into the country.
