Oh, I got a “missed delivery” notice from the USPS but the package had already been sent back. Since I’m not expecting anything off Amazon, I figured it must be from this … if so, I apologize for, I dunno, whatever went wrong?
Being as I’m from Kansas too I also avoid Oz. I was in the Army a LONG time ago and when people learned you came from Kansas the Oz jokes were annoying.
I don’t avoid sports as much, and I confess that the packs I’ll be sending out do have a couple of small Chiefs items in them. Not the glass though.
Well, my package was in the process of being, well, packed when disaster struck. Once my recipient receives their goodies I’ll explain more, but today my wife is on a rescue mission and hopefully I’ll have a New and Improved package ready to go tomorrow.

I have been out and mailed the package this morning. It’s going a long way so it may take a while, but it’s en route.
Mine should be sent off Monday and wending its way Southward. Just have one minor issue to resolve…

The box was badly beaten…but the contents came through without a scratch.

Addendum- The cat is fascinated by the can opener. She is rubbing up against it and actually grooming it!
The box I used to mail the package in is going to someone who in a past exchange sent it to me. I never throw away good boxes.
I’m not sure what happened here but it apparently didn’t affect the SG package. I came home from running errands yesterday to find a box waiting on my doorstep addressed to Lancia. Squee!
A box of goodies that including a pack of Michigan playing cards (they’ll join my Bob Ross cards on the small shelfon which I display esoteric knick-knacks) and of the course the shot glass: a resplendent little number festooned with a quite detailed map of Michigan. I absolutely love it!

After some significant ID-10-T problems my package is sealed, addressed, and ready to be mailed. I’ll update the thread after I get it sent off this week.
I got a box today and have ripped it open! Three, count 'em three glasses! One is a personalized glass iwht BAKER SDMB Charter Member printed on it. The other two glasses are the taller type, one with an engraving of a Tardis, and the other a classical Dalek. Wonderful, I love Dr. Who, although I’ve lost touch the last few regenerations.
One thing, I don’t know who to thank, as there is a surname on the return address, but no username. Whichever Doper has sent them, THANK YOU!!! I will add extra thanks by using them this evening.
Also, as I said in an earlier post, the box to my addressee has gone out.
The Doctor Who shot glasses came from the Rose City Comic Con, picked up when I to see River Song’s parents.
Huzzah! From @deltogre I received a Columbus, Ohio skyline shot glass and I am assured there will be something else forthcoming. Since I am naive in the ways of Ohio what is a suitable tiipple to break it in? I have some Bushmills single malt stout cask that may do the job.
Also, my package sallied forth today and is wending it’s way southward to sunnier climes, which is really not hard to do as it freakin’ &^!@^$!@&^ snowed here this morning. If the gatekeepers of the border allow it to pass, my shotglass recipient should be quite happy, I suspect.
Sadly, Columbus doesn’t have a liquor specific to the region. We all mostly favor Bourbon, as the Trail is only about two hours down the road…
And yes, I have settled on what I am going to send you, as it appears the USPS is pretty restrictive on what is allowed in the mail… Stupid rules.
Bourbon it is! I’ve got a bottle of Buffalo Trace that will do the job! Yeah, shipping by mail has just become crappier over the years, and the couriers suck even more. I’m looking forward to whatever surprises await! And Thanks in Advance, it’s like early Christmas!

The chocolate bars are called GooGoo Clusters. The 2 shot glasses are a clear one with a piggly wiggly and the other is all matte black with state name on it.
Also received a state keychain as well as jack daniels, and gentleman jack to try out.
