Ginkgo, my husband turns 40 one day earlier. He has forbidden me to make a fuss. I think he’s a little freaked out, frankly.
Today, September 4, is my birthday as well. I’m 34 as of today and I’m at work. Oh joy!
Sometimes…right now the current beer on tap is a brown ale…so when that is tapped, I’ll connect the Porter keg to the tap and sample.
Time to make my belgian strong ale for the winter…yummy yummy yummy.

I’m 27 on the 22nd. I’ll be celebrating it by throwing my pregnant friend a baby shower because there was no other day to do it.
Ah well. I’ll have more birthdays than she’ll have babies, I hope! And there are two days of weekend before it to revel both carnally AND drunkenly.
Today is my birthday. Yay, I’m 29.
I got to work and go food shopping today. Aren’t you all jealous of my mega cool action-packed day?

Before I go to bed here in a bit, I’d just like to say that today (Sept. 5) is my very dear friend Eric’s 21[sup]st[/sup] birthday. So have a great birthday, Eric! (and stop telling me on ICQ to go to bed; I think I know when to do that better than you :p)

And as for beers all around, that sounds great. However, what about hot and sour soup with chicken knees and jalapeno peppers? That would work very well. IMHO, of course.

Now I think of it, bubble tea (in almost any flavor), Slurpees, and gelato (again, in almost any flavor) would make a nice addition to the party. Heck, what about everyone’s favorite foodstuffs?

Tomorrow is the ‘big day’ I will celebrate by sleeping late (if possible) and playing with my Sims. Dinner with friends…if I can find some. Maybe reading the new Sedaris book if husband finds it somewhere. Obviously, I am a very exciting person.
