You know it may be time to finally lock this thread. It doesn’t seem to have any recreational outrage purpose any longer. There is no information sharing going on. Even the mockery of Starving Artist is getting old and tired. And SA himself has moved into some sort of self parody. He’s turned pathetic and sad rather than an entertaining train wreck.
Sorry, but you’re quite wrong about SA. He’s revelling in the fact that none of the idiotic allegations about Joe Paterno which gave rise to this thread have come to pass; that all he ever knew about was a hugging incident two years prior which was investigated and dropped; and that the hideous crime he was supposed to have known about and covered up for, thus allowing it to continue for the next ten years, was found not to have happened by a jury of the real miscreant’s peers.
So all is good with me…uh, him.
Besides, Victim #1 has a book coming out and Guinastasia, miss lizzy and Hector the Librarian are going to need someplace to express the outrage they’ll experience upon pouring over every salacious and perverted detail. As for me, I plan to remain blissfully ignorant, as apart from defending concepts like due process and people like Joe Paterno, I have no interest whatever in the details of that kind of activity.
We’ll be reading the book as a harrowing personal account of a young man and his trauma. You’ll be reading it as a how-to book.

Oh, I don’t know. I managed to peg things regarding Joe Paterno, the Penn State administration and the shower room incident far more accurately than the vast majority of this thread’s other posters, now, didn’t I? You might want to attribute that to nothing but luck, but I contend that a fair amount of sophistication and knowledge gained through life experience was required to argue against and put the lie to all your nonsense.
But I say that in the nicest way possible.
