It's Too Bad Google Wasn't Around When Led Zep Was Recording

I was poking around on Google Books, when one of the search terms kicked up a book that talked about zeppelins. Hmm, I thought, I wonder what kind of zeppelin books they’ve scanned? There could be a bunch which are public domain, since zeps dated back to before the First World War. Naturally, the next thing I did was to plug ‘zeppelin’ into Google to see what would come up. A bunch, including War Verse which is a collection of poems about WWI. One, by a Violet D. Chapman is titled Song of the Zeppelin. It reads a lot like one of Led Zeppelin’s songs.

With a little tweaking, you could probably set it to the tune of Immigrant Song.

Possibly what inspired the inside cover of Zep II.
