I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I do not mind a troll. I mind a poor troll. I want to see some skill, some talent. I cut my teeth on some of the earliest troll pioneers, on Usenet, BBSs, and here. The best of them were devastating and brilliant. Sure, most flamed out quickly…the brightest troll burns twice as fast. But they were fun to engage with and watch.
FXM, when he’s on his game, shows flashes of that kind of trolly brilliance. Just flashes, but it keeps him enjoyable. watchwolf just kinda depresses me. I feel like he just doesn’t grok the concept of either serious discussion or serious trollery. He ends up a weak middle, not managing to really shine at either. I can’t really ask him to up his game, because he doesn’t really seem to understand what that means. He doesn’t have a feel for trolling, he’s just following FX’s lead. And it simply comes across as annoying at best, purely sycophantic the rest of the time.

And that is why I do advise others to think twice about coming defending the likes of him indirectly or even more directly as **Raftpeople **is doing on his last reply to me over in GD. He accuses me of not to “acknowledge or understand even basic counter points that must be addressed, then your credibility is damaged irreparably.” :rolleyes: That is a monumental projection! Really silly when they ignore the clear misleading and dumb efforts of FX and watchwolf49.
Speaking of trolls I wondered why his tossed to the pit by the moderators thread was bumped, FX is going again for the quote molesting and replying to you in that thread. Not here as you posted. It is clear that he is not replying here as he would look more stupid to other more reasonable people like Raftpeople.
And now, FX thinks that he is not looking very dumb by accusing me of trolling when I use Skeptical Science as a source, besides that being silly he is only showing how incapable he is by accusing me of using that source for nefarious purposes when in reality he is only showing all how clueless he is as the skeptical scientist that was debunked was debunked with cites from Realclimate and Desmogbog, not the Skeptical Scientist site.
Well, magellian01 and RaftPeople just joined the derp brigade, I really wonder why they still think that following what FX says is a good idea.
I guess they do not care that the record will show how blind FX was by mistaking the sources I used on the debunking, and that then they showed to all readers the gross lack of attention to what an opponent really said and the sources he uses.
And his horseshit still flies, as anyone can see in this thread his only support to claim that “climategate” had any scientific significance was to link to a denier video that has no clue what scientist Kevin Trenberth reported.
Since he claims now that the pit is good for discussions then for all his talk of the claims of the researchers and posters of being “horseshit” it is important to notice that the reason why the NASA, GISS and even the woodfortrees.org conclusions are being ignored by FX. He is indeed following a stupid conspiracy.
Just one more post for posterity’s sake to demonstrate that over the closed thread FX continues to follow the conspiracy theory and their followers are just like Voltaire observed:

As his thread in GD was closed with FX getting a warming from a moderator, it is clear that FX and his sidekicks are just lying to themselves now. If Skeptical Science was poisoned then Talkorigins.org is also. It remains a resource to demonstrate what their “Masterminds” can not grasp, that were previous discussions and errors galore that pseudo-scientists do repeat constantly and that evidence to counteract those errors was published already.
And no, I’m not using their app, that is mostly for mobile devises, I will always be more old fashion by looking first at the sources the web site points at and one can indeed look at a lot of evince elsewhere, maybe Google is also into the conspiracy.
It will remain on the record then that even in Great Debates FX can not function without his conspiracy theory.

In the end those “nobody” scientists are really experts that told FX and all of us before that one needs to look at the big picture, that warming continues and that there are very good scientific reasons to dump sources like WUWT and politicians like Senator Inhofe.
