Yesterday I purchased an app. It would not load onto my iPod Touch. In another thread I was advised about updating iTunes. Did that today, and my iPod software was updated. (It took over an hour.) So I get my app, right?
Nope. The app didn’t load. So I found the instructions what to do. Delete the app from the iPod (not applicable), delete from iTunes (did that), re-purchase the app (did that, and it was free this time since I’d already bought it). Ta-daa!!! Wait. It still won’t go onto the iPod. Nothing to do but Report a Problem.
So I logged into my account and clicked on Purchase History. I got a ‘stop sign’ that says ‘We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The requested resource was not found. There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.’ So I tried again. (I had to log in again.) This time I get a pane that says ‘Session Timeout. Your session has timed out. Please try this operation again from the beginning.’
Multiple tries…
I finally get to the pane where I can report a problem. I click the drop-down to choose the type of problem, and I get the Session Timeout again. So I try again. Eventually I get to the report pane again, choose the type of problem, type the problem into the box, and click the Submit button. Session Timeout.
:smack:
Here are my questions:
-
How do I install the app on the iPod?
-
Failing that, how do I report a problem?
-
What happens if I call my credit card company and ask them to do a charge-back?
