Oh Og, I’ve been running around for the last 20 minutes or so like the proverbial chicken with my head cut off. I’m just so delirious that I don’t know what to think nor can I barely breath. As a serious Sick Thing ™, getting to go to Phoenix is like making the pilgrimage to Mecca. And it’s all FREE! Of course, I’m going to have to find some way to sell off, I don’t know – my vehicle maybe?, something to pay for the rock bottom fare there on Southwest and I’ll undoubtedly be hanging at the M6, munching on Taco Hell, whilst all my buddies’ll be at the Hyatt livin’ it up. But… I. Just. Can’t. Care. Since I’ll be there!

Any Dopers live in or around the area that can give me suggestions on what to do when I’m not actively mooning over Mr. Cooper? You know, the kind of activities (like mall watching) that are really, really cheap. 'Cause I’ve still got to figure out a way to travel around without spending any cash. I gotta save that for souvenirs!!
Yanno, I was wondering what else had been missing, and then lo and behold, I now realize that I hadn’t divulged the amazing news to my new fish friend, Maurice (named, ironically, after Alice’s character from Whiskey and Lace), so that he’d appreciate my good fortune. And incredibly, he’ll probably be pretty non-plussed. Regardless, I’m sure there’s many, many more sentient beings that I need to share all this with. Right?
Anyway, I’m emailing my co-conspirator now to see if that was for one ticket or two. Perhaps I can spread this magnificent wealth around to some unassuming member, if’n they’re interested. We’ll see.

I know Hal. [ ::: hangs head ::: ] I know. Not the best combination I could ever think of. Oh hell, not someone I’d even give a thought to seeing if she were standing right in front of me (no offense Miss Sparks), but it don’t matter cuz it’s ALICE! See?
Anyway, even though I used the plural, my brain only wrapped itself around the one and now that it’s arrived, I understand there are two! So, in honor of the season, any of you guys in the area (or can be) who might want to go? If so, post up. I don’t know much about what all’s going on (obviously – heh), except that it’s on the 15th at 7?30, but I’m sure I can find out.
