I've been nominated to the Int'l Who's Who Historical Society!

…and I have no clue why.

I am definitely NOT in the League of the Who’s Who people…I’m just a lowly partner in a hedge fund start-up. I think they must have gotten my name from a convention I went to in London earlier this year or something…

I think this is intellectual spam. It lists me as a ‘possible candidate’ and asks me for a quick biography, yada yada. There is no fee for my name being listed…but I bet there will be a fee to buy the darned thing. Their website has 2 pages that I can access, and neither give any useful info.

It’s tempting to fill it out, but I know they will just hit me up for money I don’t have…

I guess I’ll have to find my 15 minutes of fame somewhere else.

I suspect you’re on the right track Tomcat Most of those “Who’s Who” thingies are by people trying to make a buck. They don’t give a crap who’s who, who isn’t, or if Horton heard a Who.

Now, if you need suggestions for getting your 15 minutes of fame, just let me know.
