Someone better tell Drew Curtis of Fark.com that “coont” is a racial slur. For those who aren’t familiar with the site, there’s a profanity filter on it that turns “shit” into “shiat”, “bitch” into “biatch” and so on. If you try to make a post with “cunt” in it, the filter turns that into “coont”.
TBH I’ve seen “coont” for years as slang for “cunt” and never once thought it was anything else, kind of like “shite” for “shit”.

Racial slurs are a different issue, and may be subject to moderator action. However, the case for “coont” as a racial slur is not sufficiently strong to warrant intervention.

Well, from the digging others have done, I stand corrected. I genuinely thought OP had acheived something in the world of work. As it appears, he hasn’t even managed to equal the achivements of those who he despises.

It’s true that employees should not be commenting on private conversations between customers.
It’s also true that customers who deliberately make rude comments about an employee to one another so that the employee will hear them, rather than politely but firmly expressing their customer dissatisfaction to the employee directly, are total ass-leaks.
