As others have noted, this is in the wrong forum. I’m not moving it, though. I’m closing it. peewee_RotA, in the future, read the forum descriptions more carefully when you start a thread.

For the Straight Dope

I now understand taht it is the belief of everyone here that there is a time and a place for God!

You think I’m blaspheming, you think I’m discracing the name of God?

You may be thinking now, do not judge lest ye be judged… You have judged now it is my turn!

You think I don’t understand God?

All sin is the same? Not that murder is as bad as lieing, but that lieing is as bad as murder.

Jesus said that if you are agry at someone, that you have already commited murder in your heart!

All of you have murdered as many arabs as they have murdered us americans!

Mr. Peewee, methinks you don’t know your God very well. You are aware that those who bear false witness and preach of untrue doctrine are condemned, yes?

Even Jesus used force when it was necessary. And Jesus definitely said that all sins are not equal. You are mistaken, deluded, and wrong. May God have mercy on your Ignorant soul.

John 8:3-11
3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group
4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.
5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?”
6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger.
7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”
8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there.
10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
(NIV)

Tell me that anybody if given the power could easily destroy the world because of sin.

Now how many of you can forgive the world?

Do you not think God in his infinate wisdom didn’t know about what was to hapen 9/11/01?

Do you not sing in church, “He could have called 10 thousand angels to destroy the world, and set him free. He could have called 10 thousand angeld, but he died alone for you and me”?

You herdened hearted barbarians! You would forsake your God for anger and revenge!

May God have mercy on YOUR souls!

Speak for yourself on this one. I’ve got my sin meters working overtime while I’m in REM. Sometimes it gets so slippery, I slide right out of bed in the middle of the night.

Prov 20:9
9 Who can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin”?
(NIV)

You are all as guilty as such as those who murder.

quote:

We have all sinned and non of us are cleaner than the ones who killed 11,000 in 2 hours!

I beg to differ.

None of us planned the death of tens of thousands of innocent people.
quote:

The good news is that all sins can be forgiven if you take on Jesus in baptism…

Let’s pretend that one of the hijackers actually survived.

Let’s extend this fantasy to the point where the hijacker converts to Christianity and “becomes saved.”

By your standards, this would mean that God has forgiven this person, simply because he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior.

Ugh. Doesn’t sound like a God I’d want to waste my time worshipping. According to this line of logic, it sounds like there is no way to ever hold someone accountable for their actions.

Now I remember why I stopped going to church.

So am I preaching?

Yes. And in MPSIMS, which is the wrong forum. You’ve been around long enough on these boards to know better.

Since this isn’t the Pit, I will refrain from saying exactly what I think of you.

It takes only one sin to make a man condemed. And it takes only 1 Savior to clear away those sins.

Anybody here that thinks that God cannot forgive a terrorist who kills 11,000 in 2 hours, he also belives that God cannot forgive the sins that he himselfs has commited.

If any of you unrepented barbarians can open up your dusty ridden bibles and make a real argument, please do so now! Other wise please seek out the nearest church and join me in heaven whe the time comes… I invite you.

I forgive you, I forgive the terrorists, and if you think I have sinned against you then I ask that you forgive me.

Jesus was not here to make people mad, and neither am I… But anger is not a sin, only what you do so when you are angry, Jesus said that anger gives the devil a foothold. So join mean and beat the devil down with a big ugle stick (the cross).

10…9…8…7…6…

I know where I would like to cram god.

And THAT is spelled THAT, not TAHT. Moron.

But at least the devil would have posted to the right forum.
